If you are flying a really large dog to Europe this is the kennel size you MUST use. The standard, U.S. "giant" size of 48 x 32 x 35 inches will not be accepted by European carriers due to new dimension regulations relating to aircraft cargo door size, this according to Lufthansa. (I had to buy this kennel as a result of that rule change; they will turn away the U.S. sized kennels at the counter. Personal experience.) Used once, this kennel is in great shape, has a water bowl, pin securable door, and four carrying handles. In English units, this kennel is approx. 49.2 x 29.5 x 33.5 inches. Not much difference, but the dimensions on the U.S. size that exceed the European dimensions (even by a few centimeters) are what matter. You can call Lufthansa to validate this. This kennel is referred to as a "Size 4". These cost $400 new.
